The Master’s Degree in International Health and Cooperation at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) is a long-standing lifelong learning program with over 40 years of history, designed for health professionals who wish to actively contribute to improving health equity on a global scale.
The program integrates clinical care, public health, applied research, and cooperation project management, offering a comprehensive and practical vision of health challenges in resource-limited settings. The training is developed from an ethical, intercultural perspective based on scientific evidence.

Logo
The logo symbol consists of two facing shapes intended to suggest cooperation or a ‘connection between two actors.’ It is not an obvious medical symbol (such as a cross or stethoscope), reflecting that clinical practice is not the master’s primary focus; instead, greater emphasis is placed on concepts linked to global health and cooperation.
The color palette is based on the following criteria:
Blue: associated with knowledge, the academic world, and the global dimension.
Green: associated with the concepts of health and/or life.
The typographic hierarchy ensures that ‘Master’s in’ acts as a subtitle, while ‘International Health and Cooperation’ carries greater visual weight.
It is an institutionally credible logo for a university master’s degree. The symbol is abstract yet interpretable, making it more durable than a literal icon and communicating the program’s academic objectives without being explicit.”
